Queen Elizabeth National Park Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park    
This morning, we will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. With beautiful lakes and rich grasslands which are set deep in the crater valley, this is truly the most breathtaking scenery in the park.  Queen Elizabeth spreads over an area of 1978 sq kilometers in the western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley 418 km from the capital Kampala and takes approximately 6 hours. The park is a home to a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, hippos, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, baboons and birds all typical riverine savannah habitats and the famous Kazinga Channel. In the Southern Parts is the Ishasha sector with the tree climbing lions and the Maramagambo forest, one of the largest surviving natural forests in Uganda. The Northern part is traversed by the equator and is dominated by the scenery of crater lakes with lots of flamingos. There is a launch trip on the Kazinga channel which joins Lake George to Lake Edward.
You will have a game drive as you enter the park and here have a chance to spot Elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, hippos and others.
Day 2: Peak of the Safari at Queen Elizabeth National Park:
After breakfast we will head for the Kyambura Gorge chimps which will take 3-4hrs then. Expect to see various primates most especially Chimpanzee of different species, Black and white Colobus monkeys and other animals like antelopes, hyenas, Lion and many others in the middle of savanna grassland. This gorge is a home of very many bird species. After lunch at 2:45pm you will take a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lake George to Lake Edward. The launch cruise will last for 2hrs get back by 5:00pm do another evening game drive that will last till 6:30 pm get back to the Lodge.

Day 3 : Morning Game Drive and a drive back to Kampala
After breakfast you will have a game drive and thereafter drive back to Kampala/Entebbe, arriving in the evening
