Ngamba Island and Chimpanzee Habituation Center

An island located 23km offshore from Entebbe . it is a forested island of 100acres . it provides a safe haven for orphaned chimpanzees that are free to roam on this wonderful island . it offers a unique opportunity for close viewing of chimpanzee in their natural environment . pre arranged supplementary feeding times (11:00 am and 3:00pm ) each day. You will have the best chimpanzee experience here.
Day 1: kampalaa – Ngamba  chimpanzee island
After an early breakfast from your hotel of residence. Our guide will drive you to Entebbe water front club and board a speed board or a traditional boat and depart to Ngamba island sanctuary. You will view the chimps via a raised platform. Guides here are very informative and there are individual profiles for each chimp, detailing both their distinct personalitities and history on where they were rescued.
You will have lunch and go back to Entebbe with free entrance to Uganda wildlife Education centre to view the caged wildlife like lions , Rhinos among others. After the guide will drive you back to Kampala
